254 Lynnway

Mixed-Use Residences | Lynn, Massachusetts

Working in collaboration with the Minco Corporation and architects Arrowstreet and HDS, Halvorson Design is transforming an underutilized 8.5-acre harborfront brownfield site into a multi-family mixed-use development featuring 250 residences as well as ground floor retail. Halvorson Design is responsible for the design and permitting of the 2-acre harbor walk and a coastal buffer overlooking Boston Harbor.

Sculptural landscape mounds create visual interest, buffer lower level parking, provide terraced rest areas, and maximize on-site soil management. The site’s features are constructed to maximize the use of salvaged granite blocks reclaimed from the coastal buffer. Halvorson Design is also responsible for upper level tenant amenities over the podium parking structure, including a .75-acre courtyard and pool terrace with stunning ocean vistas.
