Press: In Boston’s Leading Hospitals, Nature Is Part of the Therapy

In a recent issue of ASLA's The Dirt, author Jared Green visited two projects in Boston that exemplify the valuable role nature plays in recovery: the Spaulding Rehabilitation Center and the Halvorson-designed Howard Ulfelder, MD, Healing Garden located on the 8th floor of Massachusetts General Hospital's Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care.

Principal Robert Adams, ASLA commented on the popularity of the Ulfelder Healing Garden, noting that it is loved by patients and their families as well as MGH staff looking to de-stress for a few minutes in a serene open space overlooking the city.
