Shannon Jamieson PLA

Senior Landscape Architect

Shannon Jamieson's deep appreciation for ecology, sustainability, and resilient design attracted her to the field of landscape architecture. She is actively involved in all phases of design, from collaborating with clients and participation in public meetings/hearings to the development of conceptual designs, detailed graphics, coordination for permitting and approvals, design documentation, and construction administration. Her experience includes a wide range of projects, including public parks, streetscapes, waterfront design, commercial and residential developments, academic campuses, and urban spaces.

Since joining Halvorson, Shannon has contributed to a variety of projects for municipalities, private developers, and institutions. Her recent work includes the resilient landscape design for the award-winning Clippership Wharf in East Boston, Hancock-Adams Common in Quincy, the new A Street development in Fort Point Channel for Related Beal, and the Riverside transit-oriented development in Newton for Mark Development.

In 2019, Shannon was selected to join the ULI Boston/New England Women’s Leadership Initiative Council, a multidisciplinary, collaborative network comprised of thought leaders in development, design, engineering and law who are dedicated to promoting the advancement of women to leadership roles in the real estate industry.
