Breakwater, a new waterfront development by Minco that is bringing market rate apartments and a resilient waterfront park and harborwalk designed by Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio, is coming to Lynn’s North Harbor.

Metropolis speaks with developer Nick Iselin, general manager of development at Lendlease, landscape architect Rob Adams of Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio, and Michael Liu of The Architectural Team about Clippership Wharf, a new waterfront development in East Boston.

The Daily Item discusses the design of a new downtown park in downtown Lynn that will be opening later this fall. Designed by Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio, the new park uses the “Stories of Lynn” mural as its focal point, taking inspiration from its colorful backdrop with a new performance stage, circular lawn, and paths.

The City of New Haven signed off on Yale New Haven Hospital’s plans to build a new neuroscience medical research and treatment center on their St. Raphael campus, Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio is collaborating with architects Shepley Bulfinch and hospital administrators to design a series of open spaces for the new Neuroscience Center and expanded Orchard Street Garage.

The City of Nashua is undertaking the removal of invasive species along the Nashua River in preparation for the implementation of the Downtown Riverfront Plan, developed by Halvorson. Officials hired engineers VHB—working closely with landscape architects at Halvorson—to advance the design for extending the riverwalk and introducing opportunities to engage with the water.
