Hancock-Adams Common will "usher in a new era for Quincy city parks"
The City of Quincy is spending $27 million to improve half of its parks, with its biggest project, Hancock-Adams Common, opening this fall. Designed by Halvorson Design Partnership, this activated park and streetscape—featuring fountains, landscaped green spaces, and walkways that connects cyclists and pedestrians to the bustling downtown—replaces a section of Hancock Street that previously cut through the site.

This summer, West Laurel Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, PA, debuted its new pet cemetery, The Laurels. Designed by Halvorson Design Partnership in collaboration with cemetery staff, this new 3-acre parcel creates a new opportunity for West Laurel Hill to accommodate the wishes of customers seeking to commemorate their pets.

Halvorson Design selected for Old Village Cemetery Renovation Master Plan
The Dedham Village Preservation Association and the Town of Dedham have selected Halvorson Design Partnership of Boston to develop a three-year cemetery improvement master plan for the historic Old Village Cemetery. Their work will set the stage for future improvements to preserve and enhance the character and beauty of this important landmark.
