Jonathon Matz

Landscape dESIGNER

Jonathon Matz is a Landscape Designer with a deep interest in urban design, community design and engagement, and native plant communities. He has collaborated on projects of varying scales, from pocket parks and playgrounds to green roofs and large land developments. Prior to joining Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio, Jonathon was a landscape designer in Philadelphia, PA, at a small landscape architecture and urban design studio where he worked on park, playground and school projects from concept through construction documentation. Since joining the firm, Jonathon has contributed to a variety of commercial and municipal projects, including a large mixed-use development in Grafton, multifamily residences in Newton, and streetscape improvements in Westfield, MA.
