HALVORSON WEBSITE
The Massachusetts Port Authority has created a major new public park as the centerpiece of its extensive mixed-use redevelopment on the South Boston waterfront.
Halvorson Design designed the award-winning park and adjacent roadway and streetscapes. The park features a great lawn, a three-season cafe with outdoor seating, two tall pergola structures, a bosque of shade trees, and special lighting. The park's maritime theme is evident throughout the park, which includes sail-shaped planting beds, nautical measurements, and weather signals.
