Brendan Ledley, PLA

Landscape Architect

Brendan is a landscape architect with a decade of experience in a variety of practice areas including site development and municipal permitting, recreation and athletic facility design, and institutional projects for university and health care clients. His professional interest at large is revitalization through the development of public spaces, the cultivation of cultural landscapes, and the art of placemaking. He likens landscape architects to interpreters of nature and shapers of environments with a unique ability to positively affect human interactions with the natural world. To that end he enjoys collaborating with architects and engineers and values open-minded flexibility in thinking and execution.

The goal of Brendan’s work is to design appropriate and resilient solutions with sensitivity to context. He has been involved in all phases of design development from concept through construction and is adept working through the experiential and technical aspects of a project with an emphasis on spatial thinking, site grading, and plant material.
