MIT’s Sloan School recently completed a major expansion and redevelopment of their campus led by architects Moore Ruble Yudell and Bruner Cott.
Halvorson Design provided a broad range of landscape architectural services for this important project, including new courtyards, plazas and green roofs, in coordination with MIT’s campus landscape standards and in support of LEED certification. The design also includes a major new sculpture, “Ring Stone,” by acclaimed artist Cai Guo-Qiang, that combines carved granite and gnarled Japanese pines.
