Halvorson Design has contributed significantly to the campus landscape of Boston University. The firm designed all of the outdoor spaces for John Hancock Student Village, the new dormitory-arena-recreation complex that serves as the focal point for BU student life. This project includes surrounding streets and outdoor pedestrian spaces that evoke the feeling of a network of small urban parks, integrated into surrounding districts of the campus. Halvorson Design is currently providing design services for a new west addition and renovations to the tower at the BU Law School.
